We've been making guys stand out from the crowd for over ten years. We have changed the way the old image of barbering is perceived, and have turned our clients into modern men.
in 2018 we launched our first womens salon Beattie's & Co for Guys and Dolls and thathas grown from strength to strength.
Our mission is to provide the best quality haircuts around. We believe that the perfect style is different for every man, woman and achieving it needs not to be a daily struggle.
We are different because we have regular training nights, where we work hard on improving and perfecting our skills.
Directing Barber, and Directing Hairdresser Tara Beattie, are heavily involved in the hairdressig, barbering and male grooming industry where they does photoshoots, demonstrations, and competition work throughout the U.K and we have won a few titles over the years for men’s hairdressing and hairdressing.
James Beattie is also one of the first barbering artistic teams and is one of the founders of the Barbers of Modern Britain aka the BOMB Squad.

On the 24th September 2033, I made 3 consecutive appointments for my son to have his haircut with Harry. Respectively for the 11th October, 11th November & 19th December. My son has some additional needs, including OCD and sensory issues. Change, and lack of routine are a big triggers for him and so he becomes quite distressed in the lead up to a hair cut, particularly if they're not planned in advance to give him time to prepare. During our appointment on the 11th October, Harry made us aware that he would be leaving post prior to our next booking. I queried who would cover his existing bookings and was told that it would be whoever was available. This morning I became concerned that I hadn't received a confirmation text message of today's appointment (as we normally do). I called the salon at 8:30am and was simply told that there were no future bookings for us. I explained the situation, but they refused to honor Harry's scheduled appointments. At no point have I been contacted to offer to amend these appointments or to let me know that they couldn't be fulfilled. I also note that there are now no suitable appointments left available between now and the new year. This leaves me in a very difficult position given my sons needs. We have been regular customers for the last 12 years and staff have been aware and always very supportive with my son. I am so disappointed and expected much better!
