Booked appointment online booked for glam blowdry/o styling/problo with jade. Was looking for my hair up for a wedding so this seemed to fit under styling as there were other options for curling etc. Arrived for the appointment for Jade to inform she doesn’t do up do’s. After a couple of minutes told me it was ok as Lucy could do it & would do a lovely job. Unfortunately Lucy could not do it after 45mins we were at a single bobble in my hair & that was it. I then as a customer had to have the awkward conversation of if she couldn’t do it & in the next 20mins to just put a curl in my hair as I was going to then be running late for the wedding (this meaning I was there for over 1hr - i’ve had my hair up at salons many times before & 30-40mins is the most it usually takes) This is what she then did. As the appointment went on it was obvious that Lucy was the apprentice, my biggest issue was that Jade did not come near even though I was booked with her and even at the point that it was clear Lucy was struggling & could not do my hair. So I ended up leaving the salon & going home with basic curls that I could have done myself at home and pinning my own hair - a waste of both my time & money!!

I had a nice experience as usual, Jade talked to me about options and did a good job! The colour came out a bit darker than expected and not quite as copper as desired, but was still nice. We talked about options of adding a copper/rose type colour to my blonde ends, examples I was shown looked just more blonde rather than copper so that's why we ended up going for a copper tint rather than a toner, but I did see a photo the next day of someone with a similar starting shade to me going much more of a bright copper so wondered if there are more options I could perhaps try in future. I'm guessing more time would be needed as it was an evening and more of a consultation as she seemed surprised I was just asked to come in after sending a photo.

Ginny was lovely and very personable without being over the top :) Very quick today too which is always noce!

Danni was very friendly and quick! She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and gave me some advice on upkeep and what type of brush to use, all in around 20 minutes. I plan to go again for my next haircut. There was a bit of a wait when I arrived for my appointment, but that's to be expected and it wasn't very long.
