Hairdresser was not interested at all, she added no input to my cut or colour. I came to the salon after seeing Instagram and how supportive and encouraging your staff are and how they help the clients enhance colour and advise on cut. I saw that with all the other stylists today, but not mine she wasn’t interested at all and added no input whatsoever, she acted like she really didnt want to be there. Very disappointed after at 2.5 hour drive to come home basically looking exactly the same as when I left.

Awful overpriced cut and highlights. I paid £500 for a substandard result that I did not expect. The colour was not right, and I flagged it immediately. The treatment was by Nuala, and I expected a good result because her reputation is amazing. However, I walked out with horrible hair and the salon refused to fix it on the day and they didn’t get back to any emails I sent afterwards. If only I could report it to some salon authority, I would. I was given excuses “you are just not used to it” and my favourite “it will wash out” - well, I’m writing this review weeks later and it’s still a terrible colour.

Sadly had the absolute worst haircut of my life at the salon this week. Have been left with a drastically wonky haircut (4 inches shorter on one side than the other) and not at all what I asked for. Extremely disappointing as I had travelled all the way from Norfolk to Bristol for the cut for a special treat. Now I have to pay a different hairdresser to try and sort out the mess plus wait 2 years to grow out the length that was chopped off (that I specifically asked to keep). Stylist seemed surprised at how much my hair was pinging up (its very curly - hence me traveling to a supposedly specialist curl hairdressers!) And on that basis, didn't touch the front part of my hair at all (or create the face framing pieces I asked for) as in her view 'it would be too short'. Hair was cut dry then washed, loaded with product and left. No checking I was happy, no finessing of the cut or checking to see if the curls were sitting well etc What a botch job and a shockingly bad experience. I'm absolutely gutted.

I look like a poodle. Also you need to add on your website where you can park, or at least answer the phone when I call to ask you about it. I had to walk 15 minutes in the cold rain there and back. Arrived wet and wasn’t offered any tea or anything.

Without doubt the worst haircut I have ever had. I came out looking like I’d had a 50’s blow dry, but assumed it would look better once I’d dried and styled it myself- I look like a shaggy mess- wave pattern appears to have been cut straight through meaning I have chunks sticking out at angles. I’m disgusted with myself for actually paying. On top of the terrible haircut- Stylist was superficially friendly but checking notifications on her watch whilst drying my hair and gave an overall impression of disinterest- I suspect because I don’t fit the ‘young and gorgeous’ type they seem to attract… or maybe she just didn’t like me/knew she couldn’t work with my hair/didn’t actually care if I returned or was happy. Despite what it says on the website, there is no complimentary massage. Salon door left open in the middle of winter, cold wind blowing round my legs. The coffee I was served was barely warm and tasted like a cheap ‘packet’ mix latte. Looking for positives- the products used seemed good and smelt lovely and thank god she didn’t cut enough of my hair off to prevent me putting it in a ponytail- because that’s where it’s going to have to be until it grows long enough for me to cut it myself- frankly I wish I’d stuck with doing that and not wasted my money on ‘treating’ myself to a haircut in this over priced, over hyped salon.
