I had a training appointment for half head highlights, and I have been coming for years. For whatever reason, the colour did not work yesterday at all and I look more or the less the same as before the treatment, except for maybe some orange tinge. I think th colour may have been taken off til early and I have a toner every time as I have a lot of warmth and copper to it otherwise but I was told I didn't need one this time - I disagree hence the Orange tinge. My roots are still brunette and it doesn't look freshly highlighted at all. I accept I'm naturally brunette so there will always be some ahowing through but I'm normally very happy with the colour and coverage. It doesn't seem to have taken and when I returned today to explain my reservations I was told there is nothing wrong with my parting and it's just that she has missed my hairline. An appointment has been booked solely to do the hairline despite it all needing doing and the earliest this can be done is in three weeks time, by which time I'll be almost die another colour anyway. I was having the colour for a special occasion too which will be missed unless I go somewhere else and pay someone else to do it, which in all honesty I will probably have to do. I don't think its acceptable to wait three weeks to rectify a mistake regardless of it being a training appointment and I don't feel like my feedback was acted on. I'm usually really happy with the service and I know April is very good at rectifying anything I'm not quite happy with and it doesn't feel nice to complain but I feel a bit embarrassed of my hair as it currently is.
