Sharon Malcolm Hairdressing opened its doors in October 2000. Sharon celebrated twenty three years in Business on the 16th October this year and having recently completed an extensive refurbishment the business goes from strength to strength!


The salon won its first awards at the British Hairdressing Business Awards in 2002 for Best Independent Salon Business Newcomer. And since then, Sharon and her team have been regular winners at awards, including Best Customer Service, Best in Training and Development and Best Regional Award. Sharon has won Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year three times which inducts her into the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame.  Sharon has also won Trend Image of the Year in the British Hairdressing Awards 2020 and 2021.


Sharon and her team believe that 50 per cent of what they do is with a pair of scissors and the other 50 per cent is Customer Delight! From a smile when you walk through the door to an up-to-date magazine to a fabulous haircut / colour everything in between and a happy exit. Consultation and Communication are vital in caring for any client.

My experience at Sharon Malcolm salon was very pleasant. I felt welcomed immediately which in turned made me feel at ease and relaxed. Meeting Sharon was a true pleasure. Her approach was warm and easy going. Sharon was most helpful, giving me advice and guidance on different hairstyles I showed her. She gave made suggestions explaining why each style wasn’t ideal for me and helped me to decide what I needed done to my hair. I am happy with my cut and style. I have already made appointments for future cuts and colour. I highly recommend a visit to this salon and asking for Sharon. 5⭐+ from me 🥰

I always have such a wonderful experience at this salon. When I walk in, I am greeted with a warm smile and offered a cup of tea or coffee. The salon has a cosy atmosphere that makes it relaxing. Sharon is fantastic. She takes time to understand what I want and gives helpful suggestions. Her advice on hair care is very useful, and I feel more confident about maintaining my hair because of her tips. Although this isn’t my first visit, every time feels like the first because of how well I'm treated. The team at the salon makes me feel special and appreciated as a client. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience—I look forward to my next visit! :)
