I gave my daughter my appointment for a pedicure last night as a treat. But her big toe was really badly cut during the treatment when cutting nail in big toe and as she is pregnant has really concerned me and very painful for her. I have used salon for years and only had odd Nick on cuticle so very shocked to see her foot last night

Lady who did my treatment was clearly having a bad day as grumpy throughout. Quality nowhere near what it usually is.

Every time I come to get my nails done I choose a colour and it’s never in stock. I then have to make another selection and it’s really annoying. This has happened for approximately the last year. On one occasion I had to make 3 choices of colour because the ones I selected were not in stock.

We are sorry to hear that the colour choice you want is not always available, unfortunately we have had some issues with our suppliers in the past year due to shortages of their stock. But... we have introduced another range of amazing colours from Gel Bottle to ensure we can offer a full range of alternatives until the stock issues resolve. We hope to rectify this as soon as possible with our suppliers and hope to have our full range back ready for Christmas!

I had a file and polish with Harriet (as per my booking confirmation) i dont know if that was the lady that did my treatment as she didn’t introduce herself. The appointment was 15 minutes late. No apology. I felt the technician was very busy and rushed, and flustered. She seemed annoyed about something. I wondered if it was because I had varnish on to be removed before. She didnt paint the ends of the nail leaving me prone to having the paint crack. I was left and said ill leave you 10-15 mins for them to dry. To which i sat and waited for it to dry. I got home at 4:10pm and my nail smudged as I got home see pictures. Thats over 40 minutes after the paint was done. Really annoyed with the rushed service, and then smudging! Not the usual lovely service or environment I’m used to.

I had come to Nail and beauty because I’d been given a gift voucher for my birthday and I decided to use it for a back massage. I decided to make it a special treat by also booking to have a manicure and picked the two thirty minute services to do this. When I arrived on the day my name had been incorrectly recorded as Helen Lindsey. They corrected this and I went for my massage which was very good and I cannot fault the masseuse who was very good and put me at ease but was 45 minutes and therefore not covered by the gift voucher I was given. Once the massage was finished there was a wait for my nails to begin as I think they were trying to locate the correct products to use. Then the colour I picked out for my nails was not in stock. I was asked to pay before my nails were painted and was taken aback when I was told that the bill was £100 not the £80 I expected ( £30 after I had used my voucher). I tried to say that this wasn’t the price I expected from the booklet I had been given with my voucher but didn’t really feel listened to or that I could explain. By this point I was already late ( I had only expected to be in the salon for an hour in total) and so didn’t feel I could enjoy my nails being painted. I don’t feel that the manicure was done well as I had asked my nails to be cut to the same length and there is a lot of contrast between them. I also saw that there were some smudge lines on my nails even as they were finished. I had to leave the salon after about 5 minutes which I know is sooner than I should have done but I was really late by this point. By the time I got home all the nails on my left hand were ruined so I have had to take all the polish off and feel that it’s been a huge waste of money. There was a lot of poor communication which unfortunately really spoiled my experience today.

Having listened back to your call you requested to book in our spa manicure which is 1 hour, not 30 minutes as mentioned. Your voucher was for £50, the massage was £55 and spa manicure £45 totaling £100. Apologies that we had your name wrong and that the colour you selected was out of stock but we had an issue purchasing some colors over the Christmas period. We would like to offer you the opportunity to come in for us to paint your nails as you didn't have the time on the day you visited to have this done due to you being late for another appointment. Please email us your availability and we will book you in. Once again please accept our apologies that your experience was not what you expected. I recently visited for an LVL lash treatment and wouldn’t say I was overall happy with the results, they don’t look much different and for the money I was quite underwhelmed. I had been told that I had quite straight lashes and should work better next time, I left feeling quite disheartened. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience but for the time and money I was quite disappointed.
