Good service. My only two constructive criticisms are that the price quoted on phone was different to amount the senior stylist wanted. In the end, she went with what’s quoted. Money is tight at moment due to cost of living crisis; maybe make this very clear the price from start. Please don’t assume that everyone can afford a senior sylist on phone. Second issue is online booking system. Please fix it as it needs to provide dates more recent rather than a months time. I rang up and got an appointment for the weekend immediately. It’s very frustrating for those of us who don’t like phone calls and have anxiety. Other than that, great service as usual.

Everyone is polite ,kind and courteous. I always enjoy my experience as do the other members of my family.

Everyone very welcoming and helpful. As a client with limited mobility, I can only think that my visit could be improved by easier access, ie slope rather than step to entrance (and a downstairs loo!), but that doesn’t in any way put me off coming back regularly. I can’t fault the salon, the treatment and quality of the service. I’ve never enjoyed going to the hairdresser so much.

I would have liked to have been offered salon slip ins to walk between rooms between pedicure and actual.polish as in other good quality salons.

I booked an appointment and arrived on time, I was seated but then had to wait 30 minutes for someone to become available for my haircut. I didn’t know how long I would have to wait, I had other plans after so I nearly had to leave before I was seen to.

I have been coming to the Thirsk salon for approximately 12 years now and have always enjoyed the professional way work is carried out. I have had a few different stylist in that time. My current stylist, Leanne, has now left for maternity leave. I have always found her to be very friendly and easy to talk to, she is an excellent stylist and understands and advises how my colour and style should be. I look forward to her return in February. In the meantime I am adjusting to a new stylist, but I am sure we will get along fine. One thing that I feel would be very useful is a hook under the shelf to hang your handbag out of the way of the floor and off the shelf where hair can fall in or on it. Overall I am very satisfied with Watkins-Wright and Gill and her team.
