Everything about The Cutting Room is a positive. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the Salon design itself must be truly unique - it’s really special.and very comfortable. My hair is so well cut by Shelby that it stays naturally in style from one visit to the next, and I never have to think about it - it always looks and feels good. I highly recommend The Cutting Room in Alton.

Advice on cut, cutting and blow dry was fine. No issues. For better "special" experience an offer of a beverage, some pleasantries and follow up on showing me how to blow dry a fringe as had been offered would've made it more of a special experience.

It was lovely meeting Alice and she spent quite a long time talking to me about my hair and had some ideas for going forward with styling. It was altogether a very good experience and I am really glad that I decided to change to a new hairdresser.

Alice worked absolute magic with my hair today and I couldn’t be happier. I was recommended to the cutting room by a friend so thought I’d give it a try, best decision his year! There were at least 5 different shades of brown/plum to contend with on my hair not to mention the copious amount of grey that had pushed its way through.. Alice’s attention to detail was excellent with her communicating what she recommended and why she recommended it. I have never left a salon feeling on top of the world; I did today. I had curls and colour that look amazing - thank you Alice (4 hours well spent). Also, apprentice Emily who has the most lovely and gentle way with customers - thank you. I observed her speaking with a client on the telephone whilst waiting for my appointment, she was totally professional and her responses to what seemed an awkward situation were kind. Emily helped to brush my hair out and then had the patience to rinse my hair three times (I have lots of it), communicating what she was doing and why and the addition of a good head massage was welcomed. I would recommend the Cutting Room to friends and family every day of the week. Can’t wait to go back - Well done ladies x
