Value for money I am totally satisfied with. I was not aware of £3 COVID charge until the invoice came through on the email. I know in these times we need to protect ourselves but communication of additional charge would be recommended. So many businesses are being given poor feedback as it looks like they are profiting from COVID. Yours may not be the profiting point and just covering hour own costs but let people know who are paying the bill. Thanks

Hi Katie, Thank you so much for the review of your experience in our salon. I am so sorry to hear you were unhappy about our covid surcharge and that you were not told this prior to your appointment. Every guest to the salon receives an email one hour before their appointment takes places advising them on the measures we have put in place due to the pandemic, this email includes the covid surcharge. We also have four posters displayed in the salon to read that also contains detailed information regarding the covid surcharge. Many salons decided to increase their overall price however I decided to calculate the approximate costs of the PPE used per client and the charge will therefore be removed once PPE will not be required. This includes x2 changes of masks per day, laundering of each gown, sterilising of all equipment in between each client, disinfecting all surfaces in between clients, visors for protection, the touchless thermometer used upon arrival, the hand sanitiser at each touch point, uv sterilising wand, disposable towels, and disposable cups used for refreshments. The money from the surcharge has also gone towards the three screens purchased for extra protection. I hope that in the near future this will all not be required and we can return to some form of normality. In the meantime as a small business I have to continue with the surcharge and it is most certainly not in my interest to profit in any way shape or form from this awful global pandemic. I simply wish for my business to survive and cover any extra costs. I will readvise my team to inform each guest to the salon in consultation about the surchage and apologise your stylist did not advise you about this yesterday. I hope to welcome you back to the salon in the future, in the meantime I’m back in the salon on Wednesday and will be happy to answer any questions. Another fabulous job by Charlotte. She is truly a colour genius who really listens and understands what her clients love. She’s also super nice which makes for a lovely few hours in the salon.

Realistic, detailed consultation, followed by beautifully cut and coloured hair which exceeds expectations. I sometimes struggle as not well versed in hair terminology but Donna was incredible at ‘knowing what I didn’t know’ but wanted to achieve. I’m so happy with my hair, thanks Donna. Not my first visit so on past experience too, with Charlotte and Liv, great salon.

Donna is brilliant! Highly recommend her to anyone. She's professional,gives great advice and listens to what the client wants/doesn't want. I've never found anyone who can blowdry my hair how I like it or get my parting and fringe right. until I found Donna. The salon is undergoing a refurb currently which is due to finish any day. It's going to look great!
