File and polish look nice but not a full manicure , not the cleanest and therapists Chat amongst themselves rather than to the client

I was greeted with a beautiful smile on reception, and then led to to the beauty room for waxing , My young lady was lovely , chatty friendly and very professional, definitely recommend and have also recommended to friends

I have been using this company for a good while and always found the therapists friendly , welcoming and professional .when making my appointment this time I was surprised when I was asked to pay a deposit for my eyebrow appointment. I asked if this was a new policy to which the reply was “no it’s always been like that most people leave money on their account but a few have slipped through the net” as if I was some kind of criminal . If the receptionist had said it was a change in policy no problem but to say something that is not true is not acceptable . In addition I looked on the website to see if any reference is made to taking deposits , which I accept is done for aesthetic appointments and according to the website appointments over an hour . This I fully accept as the therapist time is important and if people do not attend appointments then deposits should be forfeited. I have never not attended for any of my appointments. My feedback is being given so as not to mislead clients. Firstly might I suggest you update your website to give proper information and secondly ask the receptionist to be mindful how she deals with clients as her comments that “some have slipped through the net “is no way to speak to customers . All I can say is I have attended the salon for over two years and have only paid deposits for more expensive or longer appointments which I fully agree with . So that means I must have slipped through the net many times with many different people who have booked appointments , so I would say that this has not been policy before. Or if it was the people booking appointments were not aware of it .
