I have always loved visiting this salon. No matter who cuts my hair, the level of expertise is always excellent and the staff are all unfailingly lovely and welcoming, making for an enjoyable and relaxing experience. I have never been unhappy with either the cut or the experience. However, I have recently found out that they will be charging full price for children's hair cuts at the weekend. I think this is utterly disgraceful. Whilst I can entirely empathise with the need to try and keep the in-demand weekend slots for the higher-paying adult clients who can't come at any other time, I feel that offering some kind of discount or reward system to incentivise parents who are able to book mid-week appointments would be much more appropriate than penalising those parents who work full time and have no choice but to book weekend appointments for their children. I do not work full-time but, due to the offensive stance of the salon on this matter, I will be looking for another salon to get both mine, my children's and my husband's hair cut. Such a shame from an otherwise excellent service provider.
