The salon at 53 opened in May 2013. Our salon is made up of 7 staff members where between us all are able to carry out all aspects of hairdressing.
Our salon promises to deliver a top quality service and pride ourselves on having a very loyal and regular clientele ranging in all ages.
We only employ fully qualified hairdressers and indentured apprentices who will use top quality products supported by continuous education to achieve excellent results.
Our prices are based on the time we allow for each appointment and the experience of each individual stylist. We offer appointments with junior, senior and specialist sylists.
We understand at The salon at 53 that every individual has a specific need, so we are happy to provide and welcome each client to a FREE in depth consultation before making any appointment to discuss their needs and budget, in doing so it provides us with the opportunity to achieve and deliver your desired results.

Always professional and friendly. Great advice on colour, Emma has always advised well and you trust that you are safe in her hands! I also like the fact that they run pretty much to time, I have been to salons previously that they run so far behind it puts you out for the rest of the day! It has taken me a while but I feel I have found the salon I will never change from. I have Emma but all the girls are lovely and just as capable. Their hair washes are very good too - very relaxing! To keep this current, they are also perfectly COVID safe and have been all the way through the pandemic. They keep you safe but somehow they have managed to not let it impact on your experience.
