The wax was dropped all over, the threading was done in the wrong place, charged for a double treatment and when the treatment was over there were still hairs all over. The light wasn’t even moved towards my face to ensure the treatment was done properly. The whole thing felt very rushed and definitely not value for money despite a friendly welcome and a nice environment.

I booked a manicure. I was very disappointed at the reduced range of colours of nail varnishes, many of which were clearly old/very used pots of varnish - in fact I had to provide my own supply of the colour I wanted and had at my last visit due to the very poor quality of what was remaining in the pot you had in your range on display. I was also disappointed with the overall outcome of the painting of my nails.

I had facial threading, and the therapist was harsh in her technique and tore the skin in several places, which will take a few days to heal. I raised this, but didn't receive a proper apology. I won't be returning. The treatment was also overpriced, and the toilet looked like it had not had a deep clean for a while. Far from the standard of a top-notch salon.

I bought a package of gels on hands, massage and spray tan. They were all booked for one day. A treat I was looking forward to. Turned out to be more of a hassle than a treat. Won't be doing that again!! I would have been grateful if: - I had been informed that I could not have them all on the same day (massage and tan not on the same day) I was called later about this - I had been told to turn up with bare nails. Soak off not included in the package and resulted me in having to return to the salon later for my tan and an extra £15 added to the £93 I'd already paid. - when I left the salon wearing tight jeans and boots the receptionist had told me to come back wearing flip flops and loose clothing for my tan rather than me calling them to double check (having had the experience with the nails). I have massages at Cove and really, really enjoy them but this visit has put me off! PLEASE DO NO ASSUME YOUR CLIENTS KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW. IT IS NOT OBVIOUS TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY THOSE FOR WHOM A SALON TRIP IS A TREAT! THANK YOU.

Heated bed not on. Hot shells not working. Ran out of bed roll, and when I turned over I had to ask for a towel as my head was in the hole, they were more worried about me paying then sorting out the issues and complaint I genuinely

Past couple bikini waxes have been disappointing. Lots of hair being left and areas being waxed over multiple times leaving me with burns, peeling skin and discomfort for over a week after the treatment. The advice given was good but felt like I was being told off and shamed for being unable to make an appointment earlier and letting my hair grow out too much. The bottles on the shelf were dirty and the room didn't have the bright cleanliness I would expect for a beauty salon. Front desk staff have always been lovely and polite but I much preferred previous staff like Dani and Aneesa for the services.
