Really disappointing visit today. I told Alan I loved the current shape (long curly Bob) but said I was happy to have lots off as long as I could still put it up. We then agreed to go to collar bone length. Having visited a few times before, I asked Alan for only a few layers but to ‘twizzle cut’ my hair as I like to wear it curly. Alan proceeded to then cut my hair to just above collar bone when wet, which I accepted as a little short and said nothing, and then blow dried it straight which I didn’t ask for nor do I normally have (I even commented that it was a long time since I’d had it straight). After blow drying he then cut multiply layers into my hair making it very stepped. I left without saying anything as I was in shock, and immediately went home, wet my hair and let it dry naturally curly. Suffice it to say I can’t put it up and am really disappointed.

My hair was still itching after the wash and blow dry and was continually itching until I washed it again. I don't perceive that this was good value for money.

The stylist who did the hair treatment today didn't take enough care to do so. To me, it felt like he is rushing. Last month the young lady with short curly hair gave enough attention and took a great care while doing the treatment and blow-dry. During my last visit my hair felt soft shining and thicker compared to this visit.

Was quite disappointed this time around with Bloc, the stylist I had was running half an hour behind I wish someone from the salon had rung before hand to say the stylist was running late could I come in later. Not only that the wash basins are not comfortable at all I suffer with a bad neck anyway to have pressure on my neck whilst putting toner on was quite painful. I understand my treatments take a long time but not to leave the salon till 6.45pm is rather extreme as I had a dinner date for 7pm that evening I had to cancel. If the stylist was on time I would have been out at 6pm which would have been ok. Sorry Bloc hair this time I wasn't impressed. Not sure if I will be returning again.

I asked for a trim of my long hair, which had pretty ratty ends. We discussed taking off ~3 inches, but actually the stylist removed about ~6. It’s a good cut and it does look healthier, but it’s not what I asked for or what I wanted. I really don’t like how short it is now. Maybe it needed that much off, but that’s really not the point.
