The stylist who did the hair treatment today didn't take enough care to do so. To me, it felt like he is rushing. Last month the young lady with short curly hair gave enough attention and took a great care while doing the treatment and blow-dry. During my last visit my hair felt soft shining and thicker compared to this visit.

My hair was still itching after the wash and blow dry and was continually itching until I washed it again. I don't perceive that this was good value for money.

Really disappointing visit today. I told Alan I loved the current shape (long curly Bob) but said I was happy to have lots off as long as I could still put it up. We then agreed to go to collar bone length. Having visited a few times before, I asked Alan for only a few layers but to ‘twizzle cut’ my hair as I like to wear it curly. Alan proceeded to then cut my hair to just above collar bone when wet, which I accepted as a little short and said nothing, and then blow dried it straight which I didn’t ask for nor do I normally have (I even commented that it was a long time since I’d had it straight). After blow drying he then cut multiply layers into my hair making it very stepped. I left without saying anything as I was in shock, and immediately went home, wet my hair and let it dry naturally curly. Suffice it to say I can’t put it up and am really disappointed.

I was so disappointed with my hair colour on my visit to Bloc. I’ve been with the same hairdressers for over 10 years, but sadly the tint they use doesn’t cover my grey hair. The tint at Bloc has covered my grey, but it’s a much darker brown and far too dark for my complexion. Much darker than I’ve ever been before, when I asked to match my existing colour. The colourist also covered much more than my roots and the colour caught on other pieces of hair, so a lot of the blonde balayage that framed my face has been covered or dulled. I had much discussion with the colourist about what I wasn’t happy with, but was only met with explanations of why the colour is how it is. And told to rebook in for some blonde balayage. Then charged an extra £30 for extra colour used, when I’m not even happy with the tone selected. Even if the colorist stands by the decisions she made, there was no effort by her or anyone else to try to make me feel happy with my hair. It’s such a shame, the stylist who did my patch test a couple of days before was absolutely lovely and filled me with confidence in the salon.
