I went to see Alan at Bloc, following a recommendation for "curly hair stylists" in a Facebook group. He didn't disappoint. He explained very clearly why my hair was not looking the way I wanted it to look and made recommendations about the right cut for me. I am very happy with my cut and I will definitely come back.

Great attitude, great service and whole team is super friendly. I have a tendency to fall asleep during my haircuts, so that’s how relaxed it is. The skill is also 2nd to none. Best salon in Reading.

I switched to Bloc and Karlton and am 110% happy I did! He is lovely - doesn't try to engage me in endless chat about nothing - and that is good because I have speech issues. He is also a perfectionist! attn to detail and discusses everything he is doing. Also, the salon is calm and friendly. Love it.
