While the girls are lovely and the service is wonderful - I was very alarmed to have 2 of my fingers bleeding during the manicure. It kind of took away the relaxation of the afternoon, I'm afraid. Came home and had to use Savlon wash because it's starting to turn red already. Not sure if this is normal or not!

I do enjoy going to the Cove spa for massages as I feel that the standard is good and the massages are worth it. I've not had a bad massage in Cove spa in St Albans. They only thing that needs changing is how the staff should explain to the clients that using oil may incur charges. This has happened to me twice now, i was asked if I wanted to use oil so I said yes as this is standard however it should be clarified that using oils like the AROMATHERAPY brand (which is what they refer to) costs at least £15! I think the clarification or normal oil and aromatherapy oil should be explicitly explained as £15 for oil is too expensive. Otherwise great place and nice rooms for massages.

I've been going to cove spa for many years it's my favourite place - however I was there today - and during my facial the therapist left the room twice and each time was gone for long periods - even had a phone conversation while i was waiting! So Definitely gone to long

Therapist blew her nose twice during massage and didn’t wash her hands.
