Everyone was friendly and professional when I arrived at my spray tan appointment but I feel I should have been given more information beforehand to prepare me as I had never had a spray tan before. I didn't know about the 'guide tan' and how on a hot day this would run and look terrible until I washed it off 8 hrs later. I had other appointments straight after the spray tan and I was embarrassed about how blotchy and orange I looked! I also didn't know that I should not apply moisturiser or deodorant before the tan and I didn't know that I should avoid exercise on a hot day before and after the tan as the sweat would make it run. This has meant that there are areas (such as my feet which I put my sandals back) which are very patchy. I would also have liked to be told beforehand that moles and freckles will become much darker and therefore more visible after the tan.

I had a body scrub and massage. I really hated the body scrub; I felt it uncomfortably rough and was not at all relaxed in the position I was placed in [sitting up]. I'd also been informed that the scrub would take half an hour and the massage half an hour. The scrub actually took less than ten minutes, and then I was instructed to have a shower. I really didn't enjoy it and am sceptical about how much exfoliation my skin actually had, as it wasn't left on at all. The massage was good.

Salon needs a refurb as looking very tired. Treatments are great but one failing is that your never get the full appointment time for the treatment as the beautician's set-up time is taken out of the appointment time so an hour's appointments only tends to mean @ a 50 minute treatment.

I’ve been coming to this salon for about 10 years as the prices are fair and the therapists usually quite good. But I’m going to look for another salon now. The decor has become quite shabby so it doesn’t feel like a luxurious experience, which matters to me when getting a pedicure. A few times recently my bikini hot wax wasn’t done with care and was rushed. Today when I went, I was told that I was late for my appointment (I wasn’t). I’m posting because I’d like the owners to switch things up and make clients feel special again.

Lovely smells the minute you walk in. Very warm and inviting. I liked how it was decorated very tranquil. The actual room was lovely but the sheets covering us were very oily as were the floors. The two therapists were lovely and chatty. The massages were adequate but far too strong in some places around the bottom of my spine which is hurting today and the technique was too fast so my mind couldn’t shut off.

We were not explained the steps to the treatments,so kept in the dark, all a bit a mystery. Otherwise a good experience. My son visited later in the day and same issue. His girlfriend came home in pain, the massage was too firm even though she said she was very tender.
