Copperfields Hairdressing opened in 1995 with a vision to create a new type of salon that would see highly skilled, creative stylists delivering cutting edge styling and colour techniques to the people of Perth.

As an asthmatic I’ve kept a low profile during lockdown, avoiding shops etc. Today was my first time venturing out into the world and I will admit to being apprehensive. I needed have worried. The salon has clear markings for movement empty stations to allow for distancing and EVERYONE was masked and used hand sanitiser. Full height dividers between the back wash meant I was never near other customers. BTW I got an awesome hair style change too!

Derek and his team have worked hard during lockdown, giving the salon a makeover, doing online training with the students, organising online fun with the staff and keeping in touch with clients, And it showed. The salon was prepared to the highest safety guidelines, including disposable towels, social distancing, PPE, and plenty of sanitiser. It was great to get a haircut and to catch up with everyone - Carol-Ann has been looking after my hair for 25 years and it was a relief to give over my bird’s nest to her to return it to normal. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more reassuring experience.
