Thank you EGO St James Beauty for my patch test today. Ewa is extremely knowledgable and answered all the questions I had as well as giving an in-depth presentation of how the treatment works. The consultation was completely un-rushed lasting just over an hour of which no payment was required. Ewa wanted to ensure I went away fully-informed about the treatment I’ll be receiving, that was great. I was very nervous before my appointment, however I quickly felt at ease as it was clear the clinic is well-established and Ewa has lots of experience as a specialist with the laser machine. The patch test itself was completely painless - I hardly felt a thing. At an increased laser intensity I was asked to describe what I was feeling. I described it as just feeling as if a ‘hot water bottle’ was on the treatment area. I still hardly felt it at all that I was relieved about, after hearing friends experiences of laser hair removal elsewhere very much contrary to this. EGO St James Beauty have lots of experience with other transgender patients that’s reassuring. I really appreciated the honesty that due to just how thick and coarse my hair is, it may take more sessions than I anticipated to clear my hair that helps set more realistic expectations. The clinic uses the latest Soprano Ice Titanium laser technology. Safety is the clinics top priority. Each time I visit the clinic I won’t be able to be there any longer than an hour due to Covid-19 preventative measures in place, so unfortunately for a full face & body treatment this means multiples visits. This is completely understandable and necessary to keep us all and the clinic’s staff safe, so they can keep providing treatments. The clinic is situated in a convenient location just 10 mins walk from Victoria Station. Based on my experience of my patch test, I can’t recommend EGO St James Beauty enough, and I look forward to getting booked in for my first session which will be after the England National lockdown. Treatment purchased: Full Face & Full Body (Transgender MtF) 8 sessions at £1275 + £12 for eye protection goggles.
