Normally Emma does my hair but because she was not available somebody else did it, and it was the worst. The management is poor.Not happy at all

Gaggle of staff at reception staring at you when you check in and later pay make the entrance and farewell awkward. Not as professional as I expected. Visited Everyman years ago and it was a better experience then. Will stick to my local rather than heading into the city for this. Cut was fine but the employee didn’t match the environment.

All depends on who does the cut at Everyman barbers- been going here for near enough 5 years and the cut had ranged from excellent to good. But since the refit in febuary I had one bad cut , tried another barbers but due to waiting time returned this week to give Everyman barbers another go. Local barber could have done a better job at quarter of the price- I rough up the top and length is uneven. Did say to the barber but he said it sort itself out once washed. I choose to go here as there's never any queue and the last thing you want on a day off is to spend hours waiting for a cut. But after this I'm going to give Everyman a break. Cannot fault the clean environment and the interaction with the barber or the waiting time but really poor cut. Will have to have it redone elsewhere once I have time.

I have on one previous occasion had a problem with the hairdresser cutting the back of my neck with the razor, which was reported to the shop manager. I am now cautious when I ask for this service now and today I asked for the cream to be applied to my neck before using the razor. The hairdresser decided he knew better and used a gel instead and caused some small cuts to the back of my neck - which can be avoided if care is taken and the cream is used. Given the manager is aware of the issue and has personally assured me he will ensure all staff are properly trained, I don't know what else I can do to avoid the hairdresser causing this unnecessary, foreseeable and entirely avoidable injury to me. Perhaps Everyman could start by listening to its customers and doing what is asked not what the hairdresser thinks is best - this includes on other occasions the hairdresser trying to apply product without asking or still trying to apply it after I have said that I don't want it.
