Hello! Welcome to Alan Edwards Salons founded in 1986 by Alan Edwards and Elaine Hill. Alan Edwards has been at the forefront of British Hairdressing for over 20 years. I have been coming to the salon since 2009. Erin (Lisa), Fiona and Mairi are the best in the business. I used to live in the Middle East and I’d time my hair appointments in the UK accordingly - this in itself is telling. Styles have ranged from pixie cuts, to undercuts and colours from silver blonde to red. Due to lockdown I grew my hair (and my greys) as I wouldn’t let anyone near it until AE opened. Lisa cuts like no other, she is extremely skilled and “just knows” what I desire. I panicked when she went on maternity leave but I received an equally high standard of service from a stylist who relocated. When you have short hair the panic genuinely sets in however I have never felt this with Lisa and I left feeling incredible every time. They always listen to my ideas (entertain my Pinterest visions) and advise what is best. I recommend the team without reservation.
