  Hello!  Welcome to Alan Edwards Salons founded in 1986 by Alan Edwards and Elaine Hill.  Alan Edwards has been at the forefront of British Hairdressing for over 20 years. Our passion is to deliver a high quality service and continue to create an excellent standard of hairdressing. I really look forward to my visits to Alan Edwards. You not only get a great haircut and advice, but also plenty of philosophical chat. I've been going there for more than 20 years, though, so feel like part of the family. My 15 year-old son is a recent convert. Very fussy about his appearance, he feels totally comfortable in the capable hands of Elle. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Hair appointment on Thursday 14 May with Louise too way to long for a cut & blow dry - 1 hour & 50 mins. Don't know who's fault this was but may have been over booked? Salon was the busiest I've seen it. Homely a one off!!! Never been kept waiting before out with the usual time. Had a colour done in nearly the same tome yesterday

So glad I started going to Alan Edwards. I have never been so happy with the way my hair looks. Elaine listens,assesses and is a real expert at cutting and styling. Result - a real confidence booster.

I have had my hair cut and blow-dried at Alan Edwards salon for more than 14 years, by a succession of excellent stylists. The result is always beautiful. All stylists trained at Alan Edwards cut hair superbly - their work is top quality. Staff are all friendly and pleasant and make a visit to the salon thoroughly enjoyable.
