  Hello!  Welcome to Alan Edwards Salons founded in 1986 by Alan Edwards and Elaine Hill.  Alan Edwards has been at the forefront of British Hairdressing for over 20 years. Our passion is to deliver a high quality service and continue to create an excellent standard of hairdressing. This was my second appointment at this salon as the last visit was pre-covid and had the most relaxing service delivered after a long lockdown. This salon gives you the experience of quality and comfort that is much needed after the pandemic madness. My hair feels so fresh and healthy after the little trim (preferred to keep the length) but could not recommend this place enough to everyone... I always struggled with finding new hair salons in the past but it wasn't hard to give my trust to this salon. No matter what you bring to them, you can trust the staff to handle it professionally and be confident that you will come out of the salon feeling very satisfied and gorgeous.

It took me ages to find somewhere that I enjoyed visiting and who did my hair perfectly every time. No chance I would change salons now!

I have been going to AE for almost 20 years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Erin is a stylist like no other. I need her direction and skill - especially with short hair. I can remember when she was off on mat leave and I had genuine anxiety - twice! I have never been disappointed and I have always left feeling fabulous. I have gone from peroxide blonde to deep red to dark brown with the skill of Mhari and Fiona. Today I embraced the grey that has appeared (out of nowhere!) over lockdown. With the guidance of Mhari I now have a beautifully toned grey streak that adds quirkiness to my mob - a mum bob. A little part of me dies every time I say that. AE has maintained its professionalism and high standard since my first appointment and that hasn’t changed during these difficult times. I felt safe and very much happy to be back. Sorry for the long winded response, I wanted to take this opportunity to emphasise how superb you are. Thank you x
