Billy Basin is my favourite salon – it's like a visit to special friends who also pamper you in the process. And the quality of the cuts and colouring is second to none – I often receive compliments but always say that I can't take credit for it and that it's all down to the brilliance and skill of the wonderful Hari. But all the stylists are very talented and give you marvellous haircuts. And everyone takes good care of you, especially Nick and Tracey! Having your hair done there is always a great experience.

How delightful to be able to praise the professional, but never pretentious service I get from Billy Basin. All the staff are 'at your service', and their skills are evident, whether it be in cutting a new style and look to freshen you, or a colour to enrich the hair which stays glossy and fresh for weeks after. (the banter with the owners Nick and Harry is a 'bonus' for those who appreciate witty ripostes!)

Billy Basin staff always make me feel welcome. My visits feel like I'm visiting friends although the service I recieve is very professional. The staff always keep up with the latest styles and cutting techniques. The products used are brilliant for my hair type and reccommendations regarding my hair are informative and helpful. I appriciate the honesty of the staff. I always feel 'a million dollars' when I leave the salon.

I have been using this excellent local salon for many years now, initially being attended by a senior stylist. More recently, having retired and my income reduced - I was introduced to the 'model' scheme, using a trainee hairstylist Rebecca. What great value for money, still the same professional attendance and fun time keeping the client in full focus, but getting 'two for the price of one' as for the first few months with my trainee she was supervised by a director/senior stylist who watched over the process. Rebecca is now fully qualified and taking on her own clients, of which I am still one. Billy Basin gives great attention to the your needs, always listening to comments and acting on suggestions as appropriate. Refreshments are offered, including ice cold water, I think they would fan you if you asked!

I have been going to Billy Basin for over 13 years and would recommend the salon to my friends. The staff are lovely and the service is excellent. It is my place to relax, have a chat and have a new hair do thrown in as well!!
