Every time I've had my colour done it's been different. I've had to have different people as the turnover of staff is so rapid. It appears no one either leaves or reads my notes. The girls are miserable and often standing around gossiping. Today one was sitting in the Window texting on her phone looking thoroughly bored. My hairdresser forget my drink and I didn't get a hand massage as requested. It's very expensive for such poor and unprofessional service. Also I often see the stylists hovering outside having a fag - looks dreadful

This was my second time visiting the salon, the atmosphere can be quite awkward in the salon and I feel the staff are often bored as they are stood around and this makes for an awkward experience. I've had my hair coloured and it is still not how I wanted, I wanted it a lot lighter but it is still not how I want it. This is very upsetting.

I came to your salon because it uses Aveda and is therefore cruelty free. I have really tried to like it but have rarely felt good either arriving or leaving. The atmosphere in the shop resembles a sixth form common room with too many young staff who think their facial expressions go unnoticed. Very few of them have any customer service skill or ability to talk to customers. In terms of hair styling, you staff simply seem like they can’t really be bothered. In fact,, when a junior member of staff approached my stylist with a problem about somebody’s developing colour she said ‘get someone else to check it’. One girl regularly looks as though she’s commenting on things via her facial expressions and this, of course, makes people feel uneasy. When I have asked my stylist about products to use or how to style my hair, she manages a sentence and then a clear lack of care and interest. The one stylist I have had who has not been like this is Megan (i hope that is her name) she is kind and listens to her clients and wants to give them a good experience. I am desperately trying to find another salon to go to that trains its staff to care about customers and fosters a pleasant atmosphere. my most recent hairdresser didn’t really listen to what I wanted, didn’t communicate throughout the haircut and just seemed to want to get home early and then I foolishly paid over £100!

The girl I had wasn't who I booked with as she was off sick but i was assured she was at the same level. I was in the cutting chair just under 20 minutes. She hardly spoke, no product was used and the trim was rushed as there were missed bits I noticed when I got home that I had to trim myself. For the best part of £50 this does not provide good value for money. Whenever I have been here before I have felt valued and pampered. Not this time.
