Founded in 2006, we are associated with quality and professionalism. Chic is proud to say we have an overwhelming amount of loyal clients who have been with us since the day we first opened.
At Chic we feel it is important to get the consultation 'right' it is very easy to, miss read what the client really means, thats why we offer FREE consultations, to give you a taster of what we really have to offer, and give you the confidence that we truly understand you and your hair needs.
Chic believes that communication is the key, making you feel relaxed to talk about what you want from your style, which can help us transform you, making you feel more confident and beautiful.
We advise you on after care, reguarding shampoos, conditioners and styling products, we will show you how to apply them and how best to style your hair, so you can recreate your look at home.
Since opening Chic we have won best salon award in Skipton through the Craven Herald. Our salon consists of our Founder/Owner Claire Marsden-Dyson, salon director's Gemma Spencer and Kate Spence and our Senior Stylist Lauren Kirby.

Comment
This was my first experience of having my hair cut and styled with Covid-19 restrictions in place. My stylist made me feel welcome and relaxed. It was reassuring to observe all the procedures and protocol that had been put in place to put me at ease. Also, taking into account all the additional precautions, the experience was still extremely pleasant and I still left the salon feeling relaxed, refreshed and with great looking hair! This is such a great hair salon and all credit to everyone who has worked so hard to make it happen in such challenging and difficult times.
