I’ve always had bad experiences at hair salons (the 3 times I’ve actually ever been) and it’s always made me super reluctant to keep finding new salons, but I am so happy I did, because Edward James is wonderful! I go for their keratin / Brazilian blow dry. I have very long, thick and wavy hair that needs taming in hot/humid weather and I wanted to give it a go. I absolutely love it. You get treated like royalty. Everyone is super lovely and approachable. Offers of a glass of bubbly or a hot beverage while you’re being pampered. Before you even start on your hair you’re being given a lush stress relief massage! I almost fell asleep about 10 times. Also, if you’re worried about their prices being a little on the high side, they do amazing discounts and promotions and trust me the full price is 100% worth if. I can’t recommend them enough.

I went in for a full head tint and cut and blow dry after a recommendation from a family member. I was really pleasantly surprised from the moment I got in how friendly all of the staff members were. Paris who did my hair did a really good job, she did my hair exactly how I wanted it as well as professionally taking the weight out of my thick and unmanageable hair at my hair at my request! The colour looks so good also! One thing that was really nice is that you are offered lots of complimentary services alongside your hair appointment such as a free head massage, a glass of Prosecco and tea and biscuits. I was even given a complimentary hair mask treatment as my stylist had to quickly cut someone else’s hair before mine, which was really nice to offer even though I would have happily waited (only had to wait about 10 minutes) given it was a Saturday and the salon was bound to be busy. So yes the salon is a little on the pricier side but not much more than most hair salons, the experience is definitely well worth it as the hairdressers really know what they are doing and the staff are very welcoming, and there are lots of complimentary services.
