Jessica is the most wonderful stylist - she offers very good advice and manages my very thick, and fairly uncontrollable, hair so well. I love my appointments with her and always leave the salon feeling relaxed and very happy with the result she has achieved. The other staff in the Balham salon are also all lovely and their attention to the clients is fantastic.

I’ve had two appointments now with Gitanna and Jessica and they have absolutely transformed my hair. Coming from another salon, and years of bleach and heat styling, I was nervous about trusting someone new. My hair was gummy when wet, brittle and breaking when dry, over processed and had haphazard layers chopped into it. The difference I’ve seen in two appointments has been nothing short of a miracle. Gitanna has always been professional and knowledgeable. She calmed my fears about continuing to bleach my hair from our first consultation session, and it is shinier and stronger than ever. Jessica has always listened and respected my wishes about wanting to keep my length as much as I can, and because of her I’ve been able to keep this length whilst growing out the layers AND my curls are coming back! They’re both incredibly talented women, thank you so much for helping my hair come back to life!

It is years that I have my highlights done by Emily. She is fantastic, she masters color very well and is always very professional but also friendly. I am very happy pleased to come back every time and I highly recommend Edward James Balhams.
