I have had very good experiences at the Salon in the past but today the timings went very wrong. My appointment was 3pm for colouring and I should have had the colour washed off and my hair cut and styled after 1.30hours. I had to wait another 1.30mins for my stylist to be free. I did not leave the Salon until 6.30pm. I had been there 3.5hours.

First time I have visited En Route - and it was a good experience. I get very nervous about visiting new hair stylists but I needn't have worried - I was put very much at ease.

The length of my hair is much better, colour more to my liking, all in all a very good experience. Too far from home to recommend my friends who are firmly fixed with 70's village hairdresser!

Overall I am happy with the salon my stylist and the quality of my hair cut. However, I often find that the brushes etc. have not been cleaned and still have lots of other peoples hair in them in fact at my last visit the brush used was full of long blond hair and it was a bit off putting. I realise it is the nature of the business but feel that the combs and brushes should be cleaned before moving onto the next client. On a positive note my hair is always cut very well, all are very friendly and I like the text to remind of appointments. I also think that the birthday email with the £5 off is a very nice touch.
