Today I made a last minute appointment and was really impressed that I was able to get an appointment. As the usual the colourist and Afro hair team were excellent. What marred my visit today was the chap washing my hair. He shook my head like there was no tomorrow. I noticed his colleague was quite alarmed. He splashed one of the stylists with the shampoo as they walked past as he was so vigorous in his washing actions. The stylist stopped and commented that he got splashed. The person who washed my hair is not normally like this. Also unlike their normal behaviour today I had to move my chair out and tuck myself in. I am not precious but this is normal practise at the salon. He may have had a bad afternoon but perhaps a general word should be said to all staff that if things are gettin the down they still need to follow the usual standard of practise set by the salon. I would have mentioned it to Errol if he was styling me today. Otherwise I love coming to the salon and everyone is always very pleasant. I have been coming to Errol for over 20 years. This is the first time that I was not treated as usual. I don't want anyone to get into trouble, but just I your staff meeting to say generally when washing people's hair to remember to be gentle and not treat it like a ball and to remember to follow the salons protocol on looking after clients. Thank you.
