Gorgeous is quite simply a new concept in hairdressing, located in the heart of the historic town of Berkhamsted. We opened the salon in 2006, after working for many years in Berkhamsted and we decided it was time for change.
The idea behind the Salon is simple: exceptional hairdressing skills, unsurpassed customer service in a relaxed, stylish & friendly environment.

Gorgeous Berkhamsted was recommended to me by a colleague I work with in the city who also lives in Berko. I had had a series of awful colouring disasters at salons in London so went looking for disaster recovery! Adam was amazing, he managed to strip the awful black colour out and the addition of highlights softened the remaining colour, with a conditioning treatment my hair looked fab! I have been going back ever since for the last 3 years and have had Adam, Sean and Estelle, all of whom are equally skilled both in cut and colour. Today my hair is exactly how I dreamed it could be!! So so pleased to have found this salon and locally too. Prices are very competitive and it is great to know that if your regular stylist is unavalable then there are equally competent staff to visit. Can't recommend highly enough and in fact I now have several friends (and my daughter) who have changed to Gorgeous on my recommendation who are equally happy! Great place to go!!
