Gorgeous is quite simply a new concept in hairdressing, located in the heart of the historic town of Berkhamsted. We opened the salon in 2006, after working for many years in Berkhamsted and we decided it was time for change.
The idea behind the Salon is simple: exceptional hairdressing skills, unsurpassed customer service in a relaxed, stylish & friendly environment.

Obviously things aren't normal for hair salons but Gorgeous is as good as it could be in the circumstances. I had an excellent head of highlights and a very good cut and feel much better.

Alice was very professional. She listened to how I wanted my hair styled and she also offered advice. I was very pleased with how she styled my hair and I would certainly recommend her to family and friends.

A haircut with Estelle is always a positive experience. All staff at the salon are friendly and provide a relaxed environment. Despite Covid restrictions the salon continues to provide the same high quality service with a smile.

As always from start to finish I was treated with friendliness and professionalism. Estelle gave me a great consultation prior to cut and colour and gave me some really invaluable advice on general hair health and care and great advice on what hair products would be best for me. Absolutely thrilled with my hair cut and colour. I always feel like I’ve been properly pampered and cared for as well as having a bit of a giggle and chat!! Thank you to all at Gorgeous and especially Estelle for providing such an excellent service and experience. X
