Difficult days happen at salons where appointments run over time - it is important that there is communication about these delays to make sure customers aren’t made to sit for close to an hour before being attended to. A simple call would suffice. The environment felt chaotic, with one person managing 4 heads at the same time, whilst the receptionist sat around and didn’t even help with the hair washing. The ‘camper’ like seats are incredibly uncomfortable and really should be upgraded to more comfortable seating for waiting customers. All that said, although my appointment felt incredibly rushed and lacked that ‘luxury feel’, my hair was done well and I ended up loving my hair. Just a shame that the experience did not match the skill of the main hairdresser there.

Good salon although did not like the style I got but not really the stylist’s fault. Good greeting, free tea offered, but a bit noisy for me (tv+music at the same time...)

Nice, clean salon. Was greeted warmly when I entered, then that was it for 25 minutes I was then told someone would be with me shortly and that they were sorry they were running late. Discussed with stylist that I had finished transition and was natural showed her the hair style I wanted (I wasn't being unrealistic ) asked her if it was OK and could she do it she said yes. Only the front looked like the pic the rest of my hair did not look nice. Thought id leave ut untill the next day but nope still didnt look right so took it out. Maybe I was unlucky as the end results of the other clients getting their hair done looked really nice. My stylist seemed shy and it was only when I began to ask questions about the end result of my hairstyle that she said she doesn't usually do twists!!

My second time at the salon and the women I had Layota seemed moody and wasn't as helpful as could have been. Doesn't create the nicest experience when you are paying lots of money to get your hair done

I had a lovely stylist treat and trim my hair. However, I did inform her how tender headed I was during the process but she continued blow drying and combing out my hair pretty rough. The door was open majority of the time which made me very cold whilst I waited with wet hair for the stylist returned to me, as she was doing multiple clients’ hair. I was referred by a friend, but unfortunately I will not be returning as I left with such a sore head and a head cold.
