There have been multiple occasions where the salon haven’t run to appointment times or they have cancelled my appointment it’s no notice. Despite raising this with management it continues to be a reoccurring issue with the salon. They offered to do his hair for free on the next appointment when the appointment was cancelled with zero notice but have still charged us for the last two appointments. The more patience I seem to have the more things repeatedly happen. On this last visit, not only was my appointment time not adhered to but my sons hair was not cainrowed to the end because the hairstylist said her nails made it difficult for her to plait it to the end. They then charged him full price for his hair. I’m honestly at my whits end, saying I’m disappointed is an understatement

I found the hairstylist to be quite unfriendly and a bit of attitude whilst explaining what I wanted done Was not really pleased with the final product as I couldn't see any difference on what she did to my wig Prior to booking was misinformed about the pricing £5-15. And asked to pay different amount (£25) after service The receptionist was quite lovely but should rather be specific when proving customers with feedback regarding wig. Nee iron men's is always neat.

Have been going to Hiikuus for around two/three years and have always had decent enough service but today was terrible. Appointment booked for 4.30pm, wasn't seen until 6pm. Relaxer left on my head too long so I had burns. Then to top it off charged an extra £10 because I had a lot of regrowth since December, but even when I hadn't been to the salon in 6 months previously I was never charged extra? Barely any apologies from staff.

The hairdresser had no clue what she was going when styling my hair I had to do home and redo it myself. She didn’t have a basic thick curling wand.

I have been a customer for about 6 years based on a referral although I live outside London I would come all the way when I need to get my hair done. I dropped in today without an appointment I felt quiet unwelcome. My stylist was a trainer and she did the best she could but I will expect a bit more supervision next time.

I went to Hikkus hair salon to have my relaxed hair washed with four tracks of my hair that I had brought myself to be installed in my hair. During having my tracks installed my hairdresser asked me if I wanted the tracks doubled which I replied yes. To my astonishment the price of my getting my hair done was £88 to be honest I've never ever been to a hair salon that charges additional prices for doubling a track especially when the hair used was not even provided by the salon but by the customer, that is ridiculous. If I was told that I would have to pay additional charges for my track being doubled from the beginning I would not have even considered it. Furthermore these "additional prices'' as put by my hairstylist was not even broken down.and conveniently prices cannot be found written anywhere within the salon I was told to go online to view their price list which is stupid because such basic information should be at the ready for customers when required. To sum it up the price of £88 to wash my hair and add four tracks into my hair is too expensive for just a common salon in camberwell. Hikkus need to be more transparent in their pricing and stop the ridiculous "additional pay" for doubling tracks.I won't ever be returning to Hikkus salon.
