I went to Hikkus hair salon to have my relaxed hair washed with four tracks of my hair that I had brought myself to be installed in my hair. During having my tracks installed my hairdresser asked me if I wanted the tracks doubled which I replied yes. To my astonishment the price of my getting my hair done was £88 to be honest I've never ever been to a hair salon that charges additional prices for doubling a track especially when the hair used was not even provided by the salon but by the customer, that is ridiculous. If I was told that I would have to pay additional charges for my track being doubled from the beginning I would not have even considered it. Furthermore these "additional prices'' as put by my hairstylist was not even broken down.and conveniently prices cannot be found written anywhere within the salon I was told to go online to view their price list which is stupid because such basic information should be at the ready for customers when required. To sum it up the price of £88 to wash my hair and add four tracks into my hair is too expensive for just a common salon in camberwell. Hikkus need to be more transparent in their pricing and stop the ridiculous "additional pay" for doubling tracks.I won't ever be returning to Hikkus salon.

The hairstyle I asked for was not the hairstyle given to me. It wasn't worth the money I paid. I visited on 22/7/16. Quite dissapointed. Won't be coming bk

There would need to be extenuating circumstances for me to ever visit this salon again. I came in for a hair treatment for my natural hair, and had intended to get cornrows done afterwards but I decided to leave it at the blow-dry. I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. I didn't receive anything even approaching a hair consultation so I tried to ask the hairdresser what treatment would be best and to give a bit of info about how my hair had been doing, and was met with reluctant single sentence answers. She was so rough on my poor natural hair, from the washing to the combing. I lost more hair at this salon than I have ever lost on a treatment and blow dry. I tend to have treatments every 6 weeks, so I'm very familiar with the process. When I went to pay, she simply said "£35", handed me my receipt, and walked off without a word. I really really can't stress enough that I did nothing to illicit this kind of response - I wasn't rude, or late, or impatient, or complaining. I left close to tears. I should mention, I have been to this salon before and it was good. Maybe not as good as Angels in Burnt Oak but not bad. As with most hairdressers, it's down to the individual who does the hair.

Stylist kept burning me with the straighteners. She cut my hair far shorter than I wanted it trimmed. Wasn't happy with service and overpriced. Had to pay £25 more than what was advertised on website. I miss the stylists that have left now

I was very disappointed at the service I received today. I have been using Hiikuss for over a year now and always sing your praises to my family and friends. I was the last client of the day and boy the staff let me know that. My shampoo was rushed, my time under the dryer was rushed and my hair was not wholly straightened. I had to tell Teza to straighten the rest of my hair after only doing a few flicks at the front. If I show you examples of past hairstyles I have recieved from the salon, you would think I went somewhere else today. I work in retail, and we are taught that the shop has to be in the same prime condition for the first customer up to the last. This was my first time coming in the evening and the difference is staggering. It was evident the staff did not want to stay a minute past 7pm. I was not late for my appointment, in fact I was early. If the style I required could not have been accomdated in that time frame, let me know rather than give me a substandard service. I don't make a lot of money but Hiikuss has always been worth the spend. I will no longer be using the salon since you can't guarantee consistency. I could have done my hair better myself - that is not why I pay to do my hair at a salon. Very disappointed at my hair and the overall service. It's always said nothing good lasts forever and Hiikuss certainly hasn't stood the test of time.
