My only issue with Jo Anderson hair salon is the chairs are very stylish but not terribly comfortable. I have problems with my back and sitting in the stylist chair becomes an endurance if one is having a colour treatment or something that tales longer than just a cut and blow dry. The other lower mark was based on when I’m having my hair washed. I love the head massage but I’m getting to the point where I can’t have my head back in the basin for too long as I get a very painful neck so a long head massage becomes counterproductive. Could I suggest that the staff are trained to be aware that some customers can’t maintain the position required for too long and just ask whether there are any issues they need to be made aware of before they start. It’s tricky to do once your head is covered in shampoo or conditioner. Otherwise, I think what Jo Anderson has to offer is the best service in Hexham with friendly helpful staff.
