I booked a beauty treatment, had the skin test, and was persuaded that for a few pounds more I could have an additional treatment. I agreed and booked the two. I arrived 5 minutes before the appointed time, waited for nearly 15 minutes to finally be told I had only been booked in for the second treatment and there was no time for the eyelash tint which was what I had wanted. The beautician apologised but said there was nothing she could do. The reception desk seemed to think I'd booked an eyebrow tidy when I'd had the skin test done (applied by the salon manager). I accepted that errors can be made and rebooked to come back again on another day. The treatment was ok, results fine. However when I went to pay it was not just over £11 as I'd been led to believe, but £20. The initial treatment was only £7.50 that I had originally wanted. When I put this to the manager she said I must have misunderstood, or maybe a trainee had made an error. As the manager she should have picked up on the fact that a £7.50 treatment plus another would not have been done for £11.50 or so. The manager did say it was unfortunate but did not offer any recompense at all for not having booked the correct treatment, me having to travel back on another day and finally being charged almost three times the original treatment cost of the one I actually wanted initially. Overall I was disappointed with the customer service and therefore scored the salon quite low. Also, despite the beautician being very nice and competent, her hands smelled quite strongly of tobacco, which as a non smoker was rather off putting.

The lady who done my hair was lovely,l went with a picture of what l wanted So there could be know misunderstanding of the look l wanted, l have found it hard to find a hairdresser who can do exactly what l wanted that is to have layers in the back of my hair, not just around my face but to continue through to the back.just over £200 is lot of money to not come out with the same thing as l asked for.

I have been coming to Kudos for quite a long time and Kat has always done me proud. However I have not been totally happy with the last two cuts but have not liked to say anything to Kat as I get on very well with her. This last time I did say that I was not happy to have my hair razored as it does not suit it and sticks out at all angles. Kat said it would give me more movement. yes sticking out movement and I cannot do a thing with it. Even if I do it every day, by the evening it is a disaster. I'm not sure what to do next but my hair is definitely not as good as it was. Sorry if this seems a negative report. Regards Alexandra Guy

Friendly staff, Lovey environment. However, the session was rushed at the end- quite frankly it was an awful blow dry, the price was totally inflated for what I received. Very very disappointed- I had to come home and redo it myself!!!! Total waste of £63!!! Feel like I have been taken advantage of.

I don't feel the stylist listened to my requests properly either that or she just didn't understand. I got home and looked in the mirror to see myself properly for the first time to find that I had a fringe which was considerably longer on one side than the other and so needed to trim it myself. The back was also longer than I had asked for and the quick glance offered in a mirror didn't give me a chance to gauge the final cut while I was in the salon. Also a cold shampoo was unsatisfactory and I wasn't offered an explanation or perhaps given time for the water to heat up. Definitely not what I would expect for a high cost salon and I will be seriously considering whether to return. The advice offered sounded professional but the actual service was substandard and offering endless drinks doesn't make up for disappointing hair experience. Very disappointing.
