Although the salon was closed, owner Carole kindly fitted me in for a skin test, which I need before my hair is recoloured. She is always very helpful and friendly and I should have mentioned at the time that she looked great in her civvies - stylishly casual, a lovely look. I know some may think this is not relevant, but in hairdressing I tend to trust someone who themselves look good.

I would like to commend the staff with the high standard of cleanliness, sterllisation of tools ect, in the salon and personal protection measures taken for their customers & themselves thank you. Keep safe, best wishes Wendy x

I asked for about 4ins to be cut but they cut about 6 leaving it shorter than I wanted but overall I didn’t mind that, but what I did mind was that it wasn’t cut particularly well with some bits left slightly longer than others. I did consider going back to ask for it to be sorted but as it is shorter than I wanted already I didn’t want anymore cut off to fix it. The hairdresser also didn’t introduce herself, barely spoke and made me feel like I was putting her out being there. Assumed she didn’t want to be working that day! Overall I was really unimpressed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. On a positive I also had an eyebrow wax whilst there and the beautician was the total opposite, she was professional yet friendly and did a great job.
