I booked a beauty treatment, had the skin test, and was persuaded that for a few pounds more I could have an additional treatment. I agreed and booked the two. I arrived 5 minutes before the appointed time, waited for nearly 15 minutes to finally be told I had only been booked in for the second treatment and there was no time for the eyelash tint which was what I had wanted. The beautician apologised but said there was nothing she could do. The reception desk seemed to think I'd booked an eyebrow tidy when I'd had the skin test done (applied by the salon manager). I accepted that errors can be made and rebooked to come back again on another day. The treatment was ok, results fine. However when I went to pay it was not just over £11 as I'd been led to believe, but £20. The initial treatment was only £7.50 that I had originally wanted. When I put this to the manager she said I must have misunderstood, or maybe a trainee had made an error. As the manager she should have picked up on the fact that a £7.50 treatment plus another would not have been done for £11.50 or so. The manager did say it was unfortunate but did not offer any recompense at all for not having booked the correct treatment, me having to travel back on another day and finally being charged almost three times the original treatment cost of the one I actually wanted initially. Overall I was disappointed with the customer service and therefore scored the salon quite low. Also, despite the beautician being very nice and competent, her hands smelled quite strongly of tobacco, which as a non smoker was rather off putting.

My therapist was really lovely but I am disappointed with the overall finish of my waxing. No advice given on how to improve or when to book appointments in future etc. I appreciate bikini line waxing isn't pleasant and we won't always maintain our dignity but I'd rather be asked to put my leg in the air for instance if it meant I had a better treatment outcome.

Unfortunately I will not return , the whole experience felt rushed. The stylist did a good cut but was rushing so much the tugging of the brush hurt my head. The brush she used was full of hair , not my colour which put me right off . Overall not the best experience

She cut too much off my hair. I didn’t want so much taken off and it’s really knocked my confidence. It’s back to the length it was February this year so quite a lot of growth gone, I also asked her to check my fringe twice and she didn’t. I was so excited as it was my first hair appointment since February 2020 and now I’m just upset and I don’t feel comfortable with my hair. The layering and shape is good overall just so much shorter than what it originally was.

Had the salon recommended so decided to try it out for my next hair appointment. Discussed getting some shaggy layers and curtain bangs, showed pictures and videos of desired hair to stylist and explicitly agreed on keeping my mind-back length. Came out with essentially a long bob, very blunt and just beneath the shoulders. No layers, no bangs, and (though blunt) the ends were quite choppy. I completely understand taking off split ends, but this was roughly a year’s worth of healthy hair we had agreed on keeping. Was charged roughly £80 as it was considered a restyle, and after assessing my hair at home, I’ve decided not to return to dispute/fix hair in case it goes shorter! Such a shame because, aside from the cut, it was one of the most pleasant and friendly salon experiences I’ve had.

I hesitate to write this but I had my hair cut yesterday morning and it wasn’t a very good experience. My hair was washed with boiling hot water that poured d out in my neck, my haircut is not good and lopsided. I just found the whole experience a bit worrying as I felt the hairdresser was so inexperienced- she kept asking me what to do at every state. I have now booked an appointment elsewhere to fix it
