It was established over 50 years ago by Mr Philip McCarthy and is now owned by his protege Mrs Michelle England since 2015.  The salon offers all aspects of hairdressing with cutting and creative colouring it's best asset.The brands Schwartzkopf and Ghd are used in the salon and recommended for home use by the company .

After a long four months I was so pleased to be back in McCarthys with Michelle and Taya looking after me. I felt very comfortable with everything that Michelle had put in place regarding the safety of clients..........Sanitizer was available everywhere/visors and aprons were worn by all the staff. As usual I was extremely happy with my cut and highlights. Welcome back Michelle and team, you’ve been missed. Stay safe x

After weeks of lockdown, such a relief to be able to get rid of my roots today! I felt reassured by the Covid safety precautions put into place at McCarthys and as always, extremely pleased with my cut, colour and overall service provided.
