It was established over 50 years ago by Mr Philip McCarthy and is now owned by his protege Mrs Michelle England since 2015.  The salon offers all aspects of hairdressing with cutting and creative colouring it's best asset.The brands Schwartzkopf and Ghd are used in the salon and recommended for home use by the company .

The salon has followed all the rules regarding corona virus and l feel safe when lam having my hair done .I was pleased as usual with my hair cut and colour.I appreciate all the safety proceeds the staff have achieved to continue working.

My experience this morning was a good one . The environment is quite sterile and I feel completely safe. As long as everyone goes on using these methods, we should see numbers deminishg . Hairdressing salons are completely safe.and if the government had lmplemented these ideas in the beginning a lot of businesses needn't have suffered Alma morgan

ANOTHER LOVELY EXPERIENCE AT McCARTHY'S. IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING THAT I AM MORE THAN PLEASED WITH MY COLOUR, CUT AND TREATMENT. AND OF COURSE, ALL HEALTH, SAFETY AND CLEANING PROCESSES ARE PERFECTLY IN PLACE AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A SALON OF THIS CALIBRE IN THESE COVID TIMES. BUT WHAT IS EXCEPTIONAL IS THAT, DESPITE ALL THE SAFETY MEASURES THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY IN PLACE, YOU STILL FEEL THAT YOU ARE IN A PROFESSIONAL YET VERY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT, AND YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO COMPLETELY RELAX AND ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE AS MUCH AS YOU ALWAYS COULD. I visited the salon on Friday 18th of September. Michelle and staff always make me feel special. Very clean environment with everything in place regarding the corona virus which made me feel very safe. Professionalism second to none. Thankyou Michelle and team.

Another successful visit to the salon. Hair cut by Michelle & well looked after by all staff. Complete professionals but friendly with it. Through the difficult times we are in (Covid) I feel completely safe when I visit salon. Many thanks.
