On this particular occasion I was disappointed as I spent a lot of money having me hair coloured specifically said I wanted it to be noticeable. But unfortunately it isn't, no one has noticed I have had any thing done.

An excellent salon in every way. Hairdressers have to pass exams like anyone else but at Mosaic Hair Studio, everyone must subscribe to the very high standards set by Sally Renwick, the owner and leading hairdresser. Every person from the chief stylists to the newest junior know what is required of them, within the Mosaic framework. I have frequently recommended it to my friends and they, in turn, have been extremely well satisfied. I have lived in St Albans for nearly 40 years and, therefore have tried a few well known hairdressing salons, who shall remain nameless but about whom, I could tell some pretty tales. The most outrageous example was when I was having a bob cut by the proprietor of one of these well known salons; halfway through he left me, sitting with wet hair, while he embarked upon a private telephone conversation. This lasted for over half an hour. I would have walked out but my haircut needed completion; however, I have never returned to that salon. I have, in the past, told this story to some of the stylists at Mosaic. Each time they have reacted with shock and horror. It would never, ever happen at Mosaic, where one is treated with unfailing courtesy by receptionist, junior, stylist and, of course, Sally herself.

I am usually happy with the service and care I receive when I have my colour. On this occasion I had reason to mention some issues I had with the person who washed and dried my hair. I would like to say how professional, balanced and understanding I found the manager to be when I addressed the issues with her. There are many managers about these days who cannot take criticism or feedback and respond negatively but this person demonstrated great management skills. Thank you.

Allison is - literally - the best hairdresser I have ever had! She is reassuring, knowledgeable and talented. Huge thanks to her - and all the team at Mosaic.

Although I moved from St.Albans 3 years ago I still come back regularly to Mosaic Hair Studio in Marshalswick as everyone is very friendly and I get a great hair cut at the same time. Sharon who cuts my hair is brilliant.

I have visited Mosaic for over 25 years and have always received friendly and professional service from all staff. Several of the stylists have cut my hair, and friends are always commenting on how good the cut is. The fact that all the staff seem to be happy says much, and the salon is always a clean and pleasant place to be.
