Newman and Burtenshaw Hair Salon is situated in elegant premises in the High Street of the historic market town of Lewes. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and if you're a few minutes early for your appointment, you're invited to relax on a large sofa and enjoy a complimentary beverage of your choice. My aromatic cappuccino was served in a large white coffee cup, with a biscuit on the side. Stylist Jenny took time to look at my hair, and we discussed styling and how much needed to be trimmed. Hair washing was done at state-of-the art wash basins, on comfortable chairs. I was even offered a foot rest. Hair conditioner was gently applied with a relaxing head massage. Jenny's haircut and blow-dry were very professional, and I was thrilled with the result.
