I was very disappointed with my experience getting a cut and highlights from the academy. I wanted two different colours, a very light brown and a golden blonde. The results were not good. You could only just about see a little bit of lighter brown strands in my hair. There was no visible blonde. Also it is very streaky and your can see where the brush has been placed which makes it look like a botched DIY hair colour. At the end I was charger for the "two colours" even though I wasn't informed at the beginning that it was extra for more colours. Also considering the colour didn't turn out, I think it's daylight robbery to charge for two colours. When I questioned the finish of my hair to the senior stylist teacher she responded "you went to an academy, what do you expect? If you wanted a better result you should've paid for one" I think this is rude and incorrect. I know of many people that have their hair done by trainees and it's common practise to offer a senior stylist to rectify any errors. The stylist wasn't interested in trying to make me happy. Also the cut wasn't any good, barely took the ends off and didn't cut the front of my hair. I'm very upset that I have paid for a colour that is barely noticeable on the ends of my hair and makes it look like I have outgrown roots. I would appreciate it if a experienced stylist could give me the desired colour that I paid to have done and get rid of the obvious brush marks that were left all over my hair. I went into another hairdresser's one hour after my appointment today and she agreed that it was a shoddy job and that you couldn't see two added colours. She said any decent hairdresser's would offer to fix the issues. I hope you do.
