My first visit to Nuala's Salon with Georgia, I can not recommend the salon and Georgia highly enough, Georgia really listened to me, I have had some rather negative experiences in the past, so really refreshing to be 'heard' Great advise, lovely environment, I was well looked after, all of the staff were super and ultimately I am very pleased with my hair cut and styling! I will be re-booking! Thanks all :)

I hadn’t had a hair appointment in about 5 years, and I’m not sure if that involved a cut – in any case, my hair had been a bit neglected (with ‘done at home’ colour damage probably being the worst offender) and Drew had some task on her hands. I’ve always had long hair, and had every intention of growing it, so was reluctant when she advised taking off all the damaged sections, but thought best to trust her. Even then, my initial reaction on seeing the change was one of shock. I have had time to adjust and to “settle in” to the cut. I have noticed just how much of a difference this has made: my hair is healthier, stronger and livelier. The colouring is perfect (it’s so nice to have highlights that flow with my hair!) and my curls are so much bouncier. I have received many comments on the shape of the cut, and haven’t (yet!) had to wash my hair to reset the curl. I almost feel like I’ve been given new hair entirely! So I wanted to say a huge, huge thank Drew for being a bit brave with it – she absolutely did the right thing, and I am so grateful. I definitely wouldn’t have made that step if it were me, but it was well overdue. I can imagine it’s hard to navigate when clients come in anxious and unsure, with little experience of salons, and am so glad that she had the guts to go with her experience. Thank you Drew.

The team made me feel welcome, and were adaptable to doing an extra treatment on the day which I accidentally didn’t book. They’ve done another great job, I’m really happy with the finished look today! This is the only salon where I leave feeling happy with how my curly hair looks, every other hairdresser I’ve tried I leave with frizzy and messy hair and have to re-wash and style it myself at home. Thank you!

I was provided with a coffee on arrival. Unfortunately I don't like the taste of UHT milk, so not very pleasant. Very busy salon. Staff were relatively friendly. I discussed my requirements requesting a cut and color. I had expressed a preference for a light color to be used in part of my hair to seamlessly blend blonde already present in my hair but this was ignored. I was in the salon for five hours and despite asking for water on several occasions this was ignored, so gave up. I was severely dehydrated when I left the salon and extremely light headed, which was not good for the drive home. The junior who styled my hair was quite rough at times tugging hard on my scalp - which I don't think is good as when hair is wet it's meant to be more fragile. I paid nearly £400, which did also include a couple of products, so as you can appreciate the full experience wasn't what I expected at all. I can actually say though I am happy with the cut. I must remind myself that glossy Instagram pictures, don't give you the journey.

A really lovely experience from start to finish. Georgia was friendly and inspired confidence with her advice. I am really happy with my cut and am looking forward to washing and styling it myself. Have booked another appointment thanks everyone
