Hair cut was good and would recommend to curly girls. I feel like the salon could now do with perfecting some of the soft touches to make the experience really inviting and first class: Difficult to get hold of anyone on phone on reception. Also, website not updated so I sadly missed my hair colour due to miscommunication regarding the allergy testing. I think the decor is a bit mismatch and it leaves a slightly busy feel to the salon.. it’s also quite busy in there. Salon decor could do with update as is a bit grubby and bits falling apart eg flooring. I feel if senior hairdressers are wishing to give direction to others, it would be nice if they also acknowledged the client and explained what they were suggesting. Merely talking to the hairdresser over the client can feel a little tense and uncomfortable, like criticism of hairdresser that you have and anxiety around what’s happening to your hair. These aspects are the softer bits - ultimately I want a good hair cut, which is what I always receive here...I feel comfortable knowing they can deal with my hair type. This is my 2nd visit to the salon. The first visit I had a curly cut. It made such a difference to my style. The shape was more fuller and the overall condition was so much better. My 2nd visit was for a colour (highlights). I had previously had bleach on my hair. Georgie (who by the way is so lovely), really helped with the colours. Talked through what would work best for my skin tone and the products used would really give my hair a new lease of life. The results were amazing. I loved it. The cost is a little more than I'm used too but to be honest I'd rather pay more to get healthy looking hair and feeling so confident in myself. Also the neck and head massage is so relaxing at the beginning, really makes the experience fantastic. Definately the place I'd always be going back too t get my hair done :)

This was my second time coming to the salon. I would say there is definitely a need for a friendlier and more welcoming face/personality at the front desk. On both occasions, it felt like I was an inconvenience. When booking my second appointment, I made it clear that I wanted a full head of colour, and then highlights on the top and the lady on the phone said she'd book me in for a longer treatment as we were unsure how long it would take. When I arrived, and I was asked what I wanted I showed a photo, and the hairdresser said I was not booked in for a long enough appointment. A more experienced hair dresser came over and they said a full head wouldn't work well with curly hair, but I agreed with what they suggested, but made it clear that the main goal was to look as close to the picture as possible. I came away with some highlights in the correct colour, but that was what I wanted all over, with some lighter highlights. It felt like the highlights were suggested as they didn't have time to do a full head of colour in my appointment. To be fair to the hair dressers for both my appointments, they made my curls look lovely and provided plenty of tips and information about taking care of my curls which was appreciated. Overall however, I'm disappointed with the service and was not worth the price I paid. I could have gone elsewhere and gotten a full head for not much more.
