I really hate my haircut. I cried all the walk home. I’d asked to keep the length, but I wanted my hair to be healthy and the split ends to be removed. Maybe I just didn’t understand how much was going to be cut off but I feel like it was way more than the stylist said it would be. She also suggested that some of the pieces around my face be a little shorter, but I didn’t realise she meant to cut them to my cheekbones. I hate them. I also didn’t feel like we spent enough time chatting in the pre-interview. She cut my hair very quickly, I felt like most of the time I was there was spent having my hair washed or dried. Some people really enjoy the pampering experience, but I just wanted a good hair cut for my curly hair. I felt like I was paying for someone to wash and carefully dry my hair, and try and sell me products.

Lovely experience with Ellie. Made to feel very comfortable throughout the appointment with lots of advice while still checking in I was happy with everything the whole way through. Lovely cut and style

I liked my haircut but probably won't go back to the salon. The online booking system let me pick a day and time that turned out to be unavailable as the hairdresser I'd booked didn't work then, so unsure why I could book this online. I had a phone call from the receptionist the day before and was able to re-arrange that day to see her, however when I arrived I was booked in with a different person and a different pay grade to what I'd selected with no explanation or apology. Had to wait 20 mins for appointment to start, was offered a complimentary drink but no soft drinks available so had tap water. It was mid afternoon but the salon appeared dusty with lots of hair everywhere so didn't want to put my bag on the floor but no where else to leave it. Hairdresser was proficient and good at their job, but when I asked questions about the products they were using I felt they were a bit dismissive in their answers and that my questions were stupid ones but I'd said I didn't know much and was keen to learn. Left happy with the haircut but disappointed by the experience as I'd heard such good things about the salon, but unlikely to go back.

This was my second visit within a month ( I came back for colour). I am so happy to have found you but I am confused by your pricing as it isn’t obviously available or discussed during the appointment or booking. I asked over the phone and was quoted a price that was well short of the total I paid today - it’s not that I don’t think the prices are fair but clarity before/at the time would be very helpful.

Travel 50 miles each way to visit this salon on recommendation of a friend. Highly recommend if you have curly hair. Luxurious experience, never rushed. More expensive than salons I could visit locally but cut is so good I go less frequently. Highly recommend.
