The appointment was running over and no acknowledgement that I was waiting. Lack of communication due to following the instructions on the email sent about COVID rules to wait in the car or outside and that a call would be relieved which didn’t happen. Once seen good cut, friendly but at times mask by one staff member not on her face and diffuser burnt my ear at one point accidentally, being more careful with this would be good. The seats not the most comfortable nor getting hair washed with neck on the basin. Love my hair though.

Paula spent a lot of time listening to me and alsolooked at a photo i provided. She carefully explained how i could achieve a style that was similar to the photo and why it couldn't be exactly the same hair style.

Overall I was quite disappointed with my experience. When I arrived (no earlier than stated on the document sent prior) I was standing and waiting for a receptionist for quite a long time. One of the stylists had to shout for her. Once my appointment got started I was quite excited and hopeful. My stylist had lots of knowledge and was really friendly and chatty however I thought I was booked in for a colour but that hadn’t gone through on the system so due to the nature of the cut I’m left with quite random bits of blonde from a previous cut/colour. My stylist then asked me how I felt about the length and I said I didn’t want to loose too much which I was told was absolutely fine and it didn’t need to be short for it to curl. The day after the appointment I’m really quite disappointed about the cut. The top layer is really short and bulky and there is hardly any graduation between that and the bottom so it sort of looks a bit like a mullet. The end of my appointment felt very rushed and as if the stylist wasn’t happy with the end result she created.

Paula was absolutely wonderful, she put me ease and answered all my questions of which there were many! At 51 I am completely new to going with my natural wave and I literally had no idea how to manage my hair. I am sure I exhausted her with all my questions and we did have a bit of a laugh when I confessed some of the mistakes I was making, like never brushing my hair!! Thanks to Paula I now have a good routine to work with and a haircut that makes the best of the waves i have as well as products that will nourish my hair. I was I the verge of giving up and going back to short and straight but now if feel confident and accepting of my waves, a working progress! Thank you Paula and Nuala Morey....see you in 10 weeks 😉👍🤩🤗

I loved my experience at Nuala Morey! My stylist (Paula), really listened to what I wanted whilst also doing what was best for my hair. Gave me loads of great advice on how to maintain my curls and new colour and recommended products which would be best for my hair. Will definitely be returning!

I had my hair coloured by Laura who was super attentive to what I wanted but she also made a couple of suggestions which worked really well so I can't wait to come back and have her redo my colour when it needs it. She also made sure that I was aware that because we weren't using bleach that the colour might not be quite as bright but that it would be better for the hair which I was fine with. This was my 5th visit to Nuala Morey and its never disappointed.
