I did not get a head massage as advertised. I specifically asked for my hair not to be flat on top and that I liked some height. It was pancake flat. I also asked for short bits around my face. Not done. The curling and drying was good but a lot of water ran down my back and front.

Very pleasant hairdresser but he seemed tired and slightly distracted and kept looking outside. I did receive some good advice but it was really extremely expensive for what was essentially just a trim.

I feel really conflicted writing this review, because although I had a pleasant experience with your staff, I was not overall satisfied with my hair. Your staff were LOVELY, so polite, bubbly full of conversation. My stylist was apologetic for my wait, and we spoke at length about my colour expectations - I explained that I wanted to stay dark, I showed a picture of the colour I wanted to achieve and it was a balayage with dark brown tones. I also explained that although I have coloured my hair in the past, I haven’t had my hair coloured in over a year but my stylist agreed to proceed. After we had washed, styled and blow dried my hair, my stylist explained that my colour didn’t lift properly and it was looking orange, I had to go back and tone my hair, re wash it and dry it. I had a wedding to attend that day which I missed because of this delay (as I travelled from Birmingham) I am grateful for my stylists honesty - she told me that she couldn’t let me walk out with my colour at the state that it was in, and rearranged her appointments to accommodate for my re-wash. However, the bottom layers of my hair weren’t toned and the look extremely ginger/orange. I absolutely regret getting my hair coloured because it is not what I wanted. I just think if the shade of brown I wanted were unattainable or unrealistic without bleaching,, these should of been communicated properly to me before and I could of managed my expectations better. I’m just gutted I didn’t experience that “wow” factor from the salon, and although your stylist was very helpful with advice and information of products for my hair, I didn’t feel as though my hair was transformed after my appointment. Overall I’m disappointed with my experience

Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience yesterday. My haircut from Tomas was lovely and I have no complaint about that. However while my hair was being washed my back was completely soaked which was extremely uncomfortable. As you don’t use towels ( why ? ) I stayed wet. Another point I would like to make is about having to wait outside. I understand the necessity for social distancing but as the winter comes along it might be a good idea to have an umbrella or an awning outside to stop clients getting wet when it is raining

Hair cut was good and would recommend to curly girls. I feel like the salon could now do with perfecting some of the soft touches to make the experience really inviting and first class: Difficult to get hold of anyone on phone on reception. Also, website not updated so I sadly missed my hair colour due to miscommunication regarding the allergy testing. I think the decor is a bit mismatch and it leaves a slightly busy feel to the salon.. it’s also quite busy in there. Salon decor could do with update as is a bit grubby and bits falling apart eg flooring. I feel if senior hairdressers are wishing to give direction to others, it would be nice if they also acknowledged the client and explained what they were suggesting. Merely talking to the hairdresser over the client can feel a little tense and uncomfortable, like criticism of hairdresser that you have and anxiety around what’s happening to your hair. These aspects are the softer bits - ultimately I want a good hair cut, which is what I always receive here...I feel comfortable knowing they can deal with my hair type. Just to add to the experience, the above stuff could maybe be loooked at

Fantastic cut from Paula, can’t praise her highly enough. But she was run off her feet trying to do 3 people at once. I waited half an hour downstairs which felt grim and stuffy and it felt a bit like being in a conveyor belt. Your website is misleading; I thought there would be a chance to eat something as I had missed lunch to get there.
